Peterborough Lido. Have Goggles, Will Travel Pool #94

Fantastic outdoor art deco pool!

Quick trip to Peterborough to do what most people do when visiting Peterborough, collect an last minute passport from the passport office!

Fantastic sunny day so after a quick walk around the old town centre and cathederal ground, have an al fresco lunch in the sun then make a the quick two minute journey to the fantastic art deco Peterborough lido.

The pool has been well restored and maintained. The water was crystal clear except for the occassional leaf, but was freezing - as to be expected for an outdoor pool in the UK! … and there was quite a cross wind!

First outdoor swim in a while - first swim in a while! hence the pace is far from spectacular and the distance is the basic requirement to add the pool!
