Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre

Working on a trade show at the ICC Sydney in Darling Harbour, Sydney - located directly behind the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, named after the legendary Australian Olympian Ian Thorpe.

The building opened in 2007 but still looks brand new! The interior has a striking wave-style roof arching over the eight 50m lanes.

For an afternoon swim in a 50m pool, I make a respectable 3km / average 1:28 pace swim before returning to work!
