Tepid Baths

Visiting my brother in New Zealand and taking the opportunity to visit this historic city centre pool.

Located just a stone's throw from Auckland Harbour and the busy ferry port, Tepid Baths first opened as a saltwater pool in 1914, than 100 years ago. The pool has been refurbished several times throughout its history, most notably in 1974 to convert it from harbour-fed salt water to freshwater and most recently in 2012 to its current modern form.
