Keen to get a decent swim in, then get back to the waterpark for a few slides before it closes, I go straight for the main pool today.",[12,22,23],{},"Quick change in the rather sweaty changing rooms, then head out onto the pool deck. Oddly, it's an eight-lane pool but the middle two lanes seem wider than the surrounding six.",[12,25,26],{},"It's not a quiet swim session and there are a few swimming lessons going on, but fortunately one of the two seemingly wider centre lanes is empty. Jump in and make a start.",[12,28,29],{},"Cold water in hot Spain is always welcome, but I do wish the pool water is clearer. The cloudy water is made worse by my foggy goggles, which I think is actually sunscreen that I've managed to get on the inside of the lenses and is then impossible to get off! I think I have the same problem with my phone camera lens judging by the glare in the pool photo!",[12,31,32],{},"I've also remembered my swim cap for the mandatory Spanish headwear requirement.",[12,34,35],{},"Planning a long plod, but the swim cap has been slipping for a few hundred metres, so pull up at 1600m to reseat it, then repeat with another mile.
