Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre. Have Goggles, Will Travel Pool #47

Post-breakfast swim in the Melbourne sun.

Heading over to Northcote High Street to meet an old friend from the UK and her Australian family for breakfast, it’s about 20 minutes from the city centre, but I’ve already found a perfect post-breakfast swim spot - the Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre! Best of all, two pools, an outdoor full 50m Olympic pool and a bonus indoor 25m pool.

Still laden with an Aussie eggs benny, so this will not be the quickest swim time!

After returning back to the hotel, I realised I’d left my credit card at the pool reception; I think this was a security deposit for my locker! Thankfully, my friend Jo Jo saved the day and drove over to collect the card for me!
