Early family summer holiday down to Cornwall, the ideal oppotunity to add the distinctive, triangular Penzance Jubilee pool to the list. The main pool is unheated salt water, direct from the Atlantic ocean.

Situated on the rocks adjacent to the working Penzance harbour, the pool size is impressive, 98m x 56m, with three 33m lanes for lap swimming.

The main pool is just over 2m deep with a sand floor - and the water is typical UK coastal freezing!

The facility includes a seperate geothermal heated thermal spa pool, heated to around 32 degress directly from a 400m deep geothermal well.

Complete a quick 1km to qualify the pool then run a few sprint laps around the main pool with the kid.
