After finishing a 1km in the indoor pool, hop out through the glass doors to the 20m, three lane outdoor pool, it's too cold to hang about, it's six degrees outside so set the watch to the correct pool length and jump straight. It's cold! Hard to believe it's a heated pool - and no steam rising off the surface! Don't hang about, start working through the required fifty lengths to get this one added to the list. Unsurprisingly, I have the entire pool to my self, there's only only lane rope but three lanes marked on the concrete floor, select a leave-free path mid-way between the double lane.

There's quite a bit of foliage in the pool, not too bad and it's clearly well maintained. It's a fairly consistent 1m depth and the water is crystal clear but oddly feel it's too cold for tumble turns or too much pace, more interested in a straight 1km swim to tick off the list!

Complete the pool, take a few in pool photos and sprint back inside to the hot tub.
