To the right is an eight lane 25m short course pool, which looks quite busy. There are some masters coaching sessions in three of the lanes. Two lanes are marked Medio and Rápido, both with a few swimmers, then a completely unmarked lane in the middle of the pool which is completely empty!",[12,37,38],{},"Jump in that one and make a start. Hoping to complete a standard 3.2km session, but we'll see how it goes! The water temperature is just right, although the water isn't exactly clear. Have to fill and empty each eye during turns after a few minutes, but that sorts them out for the remainder of the swim.",[12,40,41],{},"Working through an initial one mile, 1600m, I notice two things. Firstly, the lifeguard moves the Rápido cone to my lane. Great when they actively manage the lanes, and confirmation that I'm not in one they were keeping free for something else! The second thing is that every other swimmer is wearing a swim cap. Starting to think Spanish lap swimming etiquette might make caps mandatory!",[12,43,44],{},"The session starts to fill up as the swim goes on.
